Lil lion face is off to the vet this morning to have his fluffy bits removed,I hope he'll be ok :(

yay! hes home and ok and wheeking happily, just gotta keep my eye on him now and give him quiet and rest etc.
I feel so guilty about him losing his bits though :(

Aww, tell him he can have a girlfriend now and he will be happy :P

Don't feel guilty, give him a hug after he's fully recovered and he'll love you even more than before (because he can have a girlfriend! :P)

Pleased he is home safely, even I worry and I've had countless boys neutered without losing one or major problems :)

As already said, don't feel guilty, there is absolutely no reason. Caramel will be none the wiser his "nick knacks" have gone as long as you don't tell him :-X
Find the right girlie for him and he will be as happy as the proverbial pig in clover, bless him :)

Today hes sulking in his lil house giving mum filthy looks as if to say " you did this to me " heh

Girls more like, hes going in with 5 of them ;)
he wont know where to start although right now it looks all puffy around his ex-bits,i guess itll go down soon

Oh, lucky chap :D

Do keep an eye on the wounds though. Guineas are so low to the ground there is a significant risk of infection. Make sure he is on clean bedding, vet bed or newspaper being best, not hay for once as it could poke into the wound introducing infection. Put it in a rack instead.

Hes sitting on newspaper at the mo with a bit of hay in a seperate corner that hes munching
his penis ( sorry)seems to be out though and hes wet underneath ( i guess hes got no control over it yet) so we keep wiping him down with antiseptic wipes, where his fluffy bits were its just kinda lumpy and enlarged but not bright red or anything like that,he seems happy enough though and is eating fine

any idea how long it takes for it all to calm down? like swelling etc
