Hi all.I have a bad hay allergy and I'm looking for ways to contain the hay I feed my piggies so the dust doesn't affect me too much.Ive just remembered I used to buy some hay for one of my bunnies which was really good quality.I think an online hay co. has had it on their site too.It comes in a cardboard box which you tear a hole in a pre perforated area easily reached by rabbis or guinea pigs and so there is very little airborne dust as it acts as its own hay rack without the need to remove it from the box if that makes sense.Once eaten you just discard the box.I will carry on looking for it but if anyone knows what the product is and where to find it please let me know!It may not be available anymore of course.
Sat here with eyes/nose streaming as Ive just fed fresh hay to my lovelies!Hearing them munching makes up for it though!

Oh it is.It was marvellous but I lost track of where to get it.My little blind bunny thought it was brilliant. It was pretty much the only hay he would eat!

Dustfreehay online hay do hay delivered in cardboard boxes which I could cut a hole in for access for them but being 2kg boxes they would take up a fair bit of room in their cages. Its an option if I cant find the other stuff though.

Wow that's not cheap! Could you make your own using old boxes and do a batch (wearing a mask?) then store them in a sealed bag and use them one at a time?
Yes great idea.I will make some outside.I have some old shoe boxes which might work
