Our piggies have never been 'struck' on carrots and I only give them maybe once a fortnight but OH bought a large bag the weekend so knew most would get thrown away (hadn't the heart to tell him they don't care for them)
They won't touch certain veggies if they are chopped, spring greens etc.
This morning, decided to grate them out of curiosity to see if they'd eat them as they love grated beetroot etc.
Result...they've scoffed the lot so looks like I've now started something mallethead
Anyone else got a way of disguising food or just fussy piggies :{

my piggies like me prefer carrots in batons rather than discs :)

I just chuck the whole carrot in with Smudgy and its gone later that day :{
He only gets them once a week

WHile on the otherhand Mojo will only eat the outside of the carrot and leave the rest so I dont bother giving them to him now.

Ours only eat Chantany carrots, not proper ones... spoilt little brats!

:)) They are the posh ones, our piggies used to like these but just decided that they didn't want carrots full stop ;)
I was buying the ones with the tops but throwing the carrots themselves away...:x

No problems here! I give carrots in chunks; any piggy that dithers for too long has had it in my big groups... :))

Alice won't eat carrots I might grate it see if she will try that

I will try them grated -Mists likes the tops but not the actual carrots themselves much. I love the thought of them deciding you had invented a new veggie for them! :))

Just hoping I haven't started something with them all - they're spoiled enough but don't fancy grating everything ;)
Ah, the joys of being a committed slave :(|)

You know when you say "committed"...is that the one where the white van comes and takes you away ;) if so, they need a big van, for starters, there's a few of us here! :))

all my pigs eat carrots....i chop each carrot into about 2 or 3 pieces and they disappear. Bubble in particular will come and take one from out of your hand! :)

hmm i've never thought of grating any of my veg but that's given me some good ideas for new toys and ways to make fun little "veg cakes" and things like that ...
Oh my minds rolling.
All my piggies eat carrot although Bentley and Chester have only recently taken a liking to them !
