Hello all...

Have just been checking the boys (which I don't do as often as I should...I know, I know...) and wasn't sure what was going on with one of them. (Naming no names, but the black and ginger will give it away...told him he'd be an internet porn star, just to soften the blow...!)

Anyhow, I dunked him in warm water and cleaned the area. To me, it just looks like 'Cauliflower Willy'...any opinions?

He's squeaky clean at the mo! Was quite good actually, what with being dunked and then turned upside-down! He lives on fleece so that should help...gets cleaned out every other day so he'd better get used to the upside-down thing!:))

I'm sure Milo has one too. Poor boy he is still growing as he is only 6 months old but it does look sort of like a cauliflower. :)

Emma great idea about the facebook group. My non guinea facebook friends would think I was a mentalist...lol

Yesterday I said to my best friend that aww my two foster boys have gone to their new home. And he thought I was fostering humans! LMAO Funny! :D

I've just told Peter to look at Milo's willy tomorrow when I do the pigs again and he said he isn't looking as he isn't gay! LMAO

One of my boys has this, it doesn't look nice at all and I think he has a sore on it. I'm keeping it as clean as I can but it's difficult when they don't understand that they have to not sit in their poo like he likes to do!
 
I have to say in 17 years of looking at guinea pigs penis's, I haven't seen one like this :))

If you protrude the penis fully does it become a non-cauliflower, if you know what I mean! :{

I can only speak for the 2 cauli's i've had experience with & the answer is yes when the penis is exposed it is normal :)) I "think" it's the skin that doesn't retract poperly.... Lordy what a subject!
Wilbur (RIP) had one & when i mentioned it to the vet she'd never heard the term :))
This was Wilbur, he was so proud to pose for these as you can see by his big smile :))

I adore Wilbur he was a boy version of Bee! I read this before and then had cauliflower with my tea, the term 'cauli' makes me feel sick now lol!
 
I made cauliflower cheese for our tea tonight ... I didn't give it a thought until now! rolleyes:))

I have to say again that I have never had a cauliflower willy! ;)
 
Hamish never had this problem as he has always been quite light and never dragged himself on the floor, however Harley needed constantly cleaning and so did Herbie rolleyes but I love them round and snuggly drool
 
Nothing wrong as such; it just means the penis doesn't retract properly, it causes no harm to the boar you just have to make sure it stays clean esp if you have a long haired piggy as i would imagine hair could become entangled & lead to possible infection :)
 
I agree with Niki ... a long-haired piggy could get his hair stuck in it which could be very uncomfortable! rolleyes
 
Nice penis shot! Liking his first porn debut haha. Nah, Bailey had a cauliflower and it is fine as long as you keep it really clean. They have a tendency to get hay stuck up there and no lad likes unwanted foliage up his bits!
