Well I have been photographing the piggies at the rescue to make upto date posters for the fundraising day in may. So I thought I would share with all you people as there are some very very cute piggies needing home now or in the near future! The fundraising day is to help get alot of the single boars neutered.

Well going to start with Tango as some of you know he has had a rough time of it and was frenemies with Jive at one time. He needs to be neutered and find a girl friend as he only tolerates male company for about a month before the relationship breaks down. He would love and indoor home as he seems to catch URIs quite easily. But he is a lovely friendly affectionate guy once he gets to know you!

Harvey and Neslon are two lovely boars who are ready to leave and are chippenham babies for those who remember the big rescue of the summer

Berry and Murphy. Berry was rescued from a family who had little idea of the nutrional needs of guinea pigs and was fed potato peelings and aubergines and other oddities. We think she had a miscarriage which was probably a blessing as her relatives were all pregnant. Murphy is another chippenham piggy who has been neutered

Crocus (related to berry, snowbell and tiffany) who is only a baby herself and gave birth on wednesday to tinkerbelle (white sow) and peter pan (black and white boar). She is proving to be a good mother as long as she is well fed - she is super food motivated!

please wait for a second instalment

Tinkerbelle and yet to be named babies (related to berry, crocus and snowbell) only and tiny wee thing herself and is a fabulous mother! who is being helped by her boar friend ruffle who is very lovely and handsome if a bit odd

Topper another chippenham boar he is very nervous though will settle on your lap given time and patience and is a lovely character also requiring neutering to find the sow of his dreams

Snowbell or more aptly snowball she is huge with pregnancy and we are desperately hoping she will pop soon! she is currently living with crocus and her babies

Buster is a lovely boar who is waiting to be neutered he will come to the front of his hutch and take food from your hand and i had a cuddle for about 45 minutes this afternoon he is either a teddy or rex?

Squeaky pig is a permanent resident and refuses point blank to leave every time she goes to foster she kicks up a fuss and dislikes other piggy company. She is a lovely girl but she knows what she likes! and that is mostly veggies :))

OMG they are all so gorgeous!

I so wish I had space for one or two of those gorgeous babies.

I picked up crocus's babies when they were under half an hour old and wet! They are very cute! was rather worried about peter pan as he was rather flopply rolleyes. I have a soft spot for many of them but i really hope that tango can find a permanent home soon as it will be atleast his 6th and he is probably only 18 months old!

LOVE BUSTER! i've got a thing for teddys and rexes! they're just so cute! - btw i think he's a rex because of the short curly whiskers

So many beautiful piggies! Wow! What clear photos. The camera I got for christmas is rubbish and the photos are always blurry.

There is i think atleast another 15 piggies in foster homes? I know Fi very rarely posts on here but i thought we could all enjoy the pictures

farquar btw is oh camera, i just pressed a button and whala photo.... I could have done a bloopers reel aswell!

I wanted a point and click camera. Instead , I have about a hundred different settings on the camera I got for Xmas! Your photos are wonderful.

That camera has a million setting but i just put it on the auto setting and let it do its job it is a slighty more expensive than average sony

Went to check on snowbell today and she still has not dropped those babies and she is huge and looks so uncomfortable! I am hoping when i pop in to visit her tomorrow she will have had them!

Crikey - lets hope her and Zephyr aren't fighting to see who can wait the longest to pop their babies out!

Here's to tomorrow bringing some little Snowflakes :)

I have one of the fosterlings - Ginger. He too needs either a friend or neutering but he, once he got past his fear is a lovely cheeky boy

They are all gorgeous! :)) xoxoxoxo

What is Buster like with other guinea-pigs?

Also topper? As far as I know he's still quite anxious? What type of homes are they looking for?

Lastly are they both neutured?

Buster is needs to be neutered so he can have a girlfriend as will not except a boarfriend, though he is lovely and a real cuddle piggy! I quite often choose him to cuddle whilst i have my lunch.

Topper needs neutering too! Which is why there is a fundraising day in may in bristol to fund all these boys needing the op! rolleyes He is still very nervous and difficult to catch but he does calm down on your lap once you get him out for a cuddle.

Thanks for sharing these bootiful piccies. I've never ever seen so many piggies since I joined here last month. I have to love them all. Sad mind, with some of their backgrounds, but I'd have them if I could, but sadly not. Thanks again. :)

Such gorgeous piggies. I wish I had room for one of them but my 2 girlies are more than enough for my tiny flat. The one with crinkly whiskers is so cute. I used to have one like that. Looks like he's been crimped!x)
