Adult Guinea Pig
Well I have been photographing the piggies at the rescue to make upto date posters for the fundraising day in may. So I thought I would share with all you people as there are some very very cute piggies needing home now or in the near future! The fundraising day is to help get alot of the single boars neutered.
Well going to start with Tango as some of you know he has had a rough time of it and was frenemies with Jive at one time. He needs to be neutered and find a girl friend as he only tolerates male company for about a month before the relationship breaks down. He would love and indoor home as he seems to catch URIs quite easily. But he is a lovely friendly affectionate guy once he gets to know you!
Harvey and Neslon are two lovely boars who are ready to leave and are chippenham babies for those who remember the big rescue of the summer
Berry and Murphy. Berry was rescued from a family who had little idea of the nutrional needs of guinea pigs and was fed potato peelings and aubergines and other oddities. We think she had a miscarriage which was probably a blessing as her relatives were all pregnant. Murphy is another chippenham piggy who has been neutered
Crocus (related to berry, snowbell and tiffany) who is only a baby herself and gave birth on wednesday to tinkerbelle (white sow) and peter pan (black and white boar). She is proving to be a good mother as long as she is well fed - she is super food motivated!
please wait for a second instalment
