Hi everyone,

I let the girls out for a bit of playtime today, and I've noticed a chalky deposit urine spot from Porche. Could this possibly be from the potassium citrate I have been giving or could it be something more sinister? Or is it generally normal?

All 3 girls actually had xrays last week and no stones/sludge were found!

I haven't used Potassium Citrate myself so am not sure but have they had any food with a high calcium content?

I think it usually means their diet is a bit rich in calcium on the day of the chalky pee. Has she been eating spinach or something equally high in calcium?

They haven't eaten anything today other than hay, pellets and grass!

Potassium Citrate is designed to combine calcium in the urine so I was wondering if that was the reason. hmmm
