Change of cage set up ... maybe

I like the girls current set up but Pixie has always been quite jumpy and I think she may prefer to be off the ground. This would also solve storage issues in the animal room now I have Oscar the bunny too. My problem is they currently have a 3 by 6 C and C which will be too deep to clean when it is off the ground as I currently step in it to clean. I was thinking of changing to a 2 by 5 with a 2 by 2 hayloft. Is this big enough for my 5 girls? I could probably stretch to a 2 by 6 with 2 by 2 hayloft but getting something to sit it on it more difficult.

You could make the front of the C&C openable, so you could slide the tray out to clean. Would that help?

Just an idea. Its hard to invisiage without knowing the room size and shape and cage position etc.

I have a 4x2 , one above the other so downstairs I'd enclosed and what I did was secure the two middle grids with bulldog clips, everything else is able tied except the edges of the two middle ones
