Chase crossed the bridge on Sunday evening in surgery for a bladder stone that had managed to get itself stuck. He was a very happy piggy who didn't show any signs of what was happening. I noticed something was wrong when when he wouldn’t eat and was squeaking in pain when he went to the bathroom. We went to the emergency vet on Sunday and they confirmed what was wrong. They took him inside and that was the last time I saw him. Due to covid we weren’t allowed inside. They said there was a chance he’d be coming home the next day, but later that night we got the call that they couldn’t do anything else and recommended putting him to sleep. It was the saddest day of my life. To my best friend for 7 years, rest easy.
