Hi guys! Thinking of doing some more fund raising this summer in the way of cosys and snuggly things etc (with 100% of profits going to a rescue yet to be assigned)

I was just wondering if all you kind people could point me in the direction of any good fleecy deals youve seen lately. I would rather not buy by the roll (simply because I wont be making enough of each type for that to be cost effective) but places like B&M bargains that have big fleeces in pretty colours are all great. We have almost all the stores you can think of in swindon. :))

I havnt been fleece shopping for ages, so I was just hoping you can point me in the right direction!

Thankyou xoxo

Primark, B&M and home bargains! I think its a lovely idea by the way hon x

I'm never very impressed with the patterns in primark... I will take a look in there, but every time I go in lately I have only seen browns. Maybe I'm biased but I'm much bigger on bright colours.

Thankyou though, I will definatly add it to my shopping list :D

I got a nice red white and blue striped fleece in primark the other day for £3 which I thought was pretty awesome. They also had baby blue and pink polkadot.

You could try ebay, you might be able to buy large lengths of the stuff.
Oh and ikea sell them for £2 too :)

Sadly Ikea is one place we dont have in swindon.

I tend to find with rolls I can actually buy it cheaper at my local sewing shop (wider variety of patterns there too!) because the sewing shop dont charge P&P

I bought a fleece blanket from my local charity shop, the lady said she would save me any more that came in. I gave her £2 cos it was for charity, it was only plain cream tho! Wilkos home section have kids fleece blankets quite cheapo.

Have you tried poundland? They sell very cheap fleeces! Guess how much they are? :)):)):)):)):)):)):)):))

I've bought fleeces from Dunelm Mill, Tesco and Sainsburys. Also garden centres.

Some from Primark but sometimes they're thinner so don't wash as well.

It's worth trying any high street bedding shop and department store (I've jsut bought some plain coloured value fleeces from John Lewis- £5 each).

:)

tesco, ive just bought my girles a new set of fleeces(ive not yet got round to sewing them) they're pink with purple lepord print 150cm by 130cm they also do it in blue, brown, zebra print :) only £3!

The range have large spotty fleece in several colours for £3.99, brought a purple one myself yesterday.

I also buy fleece by the half meter from a very lovely shop on ebay, all sorts of colours, better quality than the blankets brought from ikea, b&q and range (but for large areas worth the cheaper stuff), its a great price but not cheap.

Asda have some fleece pet blankets in their £1 section (usually lots of random stuff in it). They're not the right type of fleece to use as a bedding, but would be fine for cosies etc, I use them folded up underneath stools for hidey/bed areas. They are paw print and come in black, red, blue and cream.
