Where is the best place to but cheap hay from?

We don't have a local farm shop, so that is not an option.

Many thanks

I get mine from an animal feeds supplier on the local industrial estate. Have you got anything like that near you?

if you let us know where you are it might be easier to help you, i get mine cheap from a rescue who sells so the animals can have hay for free...

You could try a small pet shop, and ask if they'd do you a bulk deal via their wholesaler?

I found someone on Ebay who sells fresh timothy hay and have just ordered a large box. I live in Texas and mostly the feed stores sell coastal which has a lot of stems and not very leafy. It would probably be OK but the timothy just sounded yummier, we'll see when it gets here.

If you have a "The Range" near you they sell 4kg bags for £4. It isn't as green as some but is quite long and good for bedding and throwing in the cage to play in (mine eat tons of it too so must be tasty) I also get them better hay for the hay racks but both types are eaten without any fuss!
