Just been shopping -

morrisons - 2 cucumbers for £1

Bag of 6/8 red and orange peppers £1.50

Lidl - broccoli 49p (for areally big piece)

Advocados I think piggies can eat these but am not sure (will have to check ) but they are 39p

Aldi - spring greens 75p

spinach - 79p

green apples 69p

bananas 69p

Those are great bargains - just popped in Aldi for some milk and bought a load of veggies :(|) Will make more of an effort to go there in future at those prices :Ayociexp120: I pay at least £1 for mixed salad bags and they have them for 49p-89p in there, get through approx. 16-20 per week with my lot :x
Avocado is not recommended as it's very high in sugar and some people say they are toxic to piggies so I wouldn't risk it ?/
Hope they enjoy their noms :(|)

Thanks - like I said wasnt sure about the advocado - so you have saved me some research - have swopped all my shopping to aldi now - I couldnt afford as many pigs as i have if i couldnt get all my veggies there - it makes a HUGE difference - our local co-op charges £1.50 for a bag of spinach and 92p for a cucumber - Aldi also do really good quality meat (sorry any vegetarians out there ) small chicken £2.69 (it isnt that small - feeds 3 of us for a sunday roast ) 2 huge gammon steaks £1.99 - and they are the ones that look like massive slices of bacon - not chopped and reformed wheel hubs - great sausages 89 for big fat ones etc etc. and its all either English or Irish (mostly);)

Ooh, no - off to find it now, you should be our Bargain Hunter on here, start a sticky so members can see all the great deals around then others can add ones they find :Ayociexp113:

Lidl and Aldi are absolutely brilliant for veggies - and most of the time they're much better quality than the 'big' supermarkets! We've just got a new Lidl in our town and when you can get cucumbers for 39p, pointed cabbages for 45p, cheap spinach, peppers, whatever's on offer that's pig friendly, we can get enough veggies for 20 pigs for about £4-6. Bargain.

Thats not a bad idea - have had 4 lots of £100 food vouchers from captain crunch in the sun newspaper over last 18 months with my money saving tips but how do you do a sticky (am really technophobic) and do I need the mods permission?
