i know that it is important for guinea pigs to chew on stuff for their teeth, which is why i provide at least 7 different chews for them. whenever i have my piggies out for lap time, i set up a towel do i don’t get poop and pee everywhere. however, latte likes to pick them apart and chew on them. i always try to make sure she doesn’t but it is inevitable to happen at some point. is it going to hurt her? because if it is i’ll use the fleece that i use for their cage. thanks! <3

They will chew anything! It is unlikely to hurt her though provided she can’t get parts off of it.
The best thing for them to chew on to keep teeth worn down is simply lots of hay and grass. Some wooden houses they can chew on is fine but you don’t need to provide lots of things to chew on - hay and grass really is the best thing For keeping teeth in good condition

I’ve never had a problem with the piggies chewing a towel and Priscilla will chew anything

My pigs will occasionally try to chew on towels, blankets, clothing, etc. It's pretty normal... they're made to chew. For obvious reasons (holes) we don't let them chew on our clothing (my kids had a couple mishaps when they were younger where a snuggling guinea pig chewed a whole in their shirt sleeve.)
