Hi everyone,
I have a few broken apple tree branches in my garden, and i was think of drying them out a bit and letting my guinea pigs chew them and eat the leaves. But i wanted to double check this is safe for them?.

Apple and leaves of apple trees are completely safe.

Some people prefer to bake things like this - personally I never have but it’s up to you. I have often ‘foraged’ for past piggies and gave Hazel branches from my own garden to my current pets only the other day. Much cheaper than shop bought twigs!

ETA - I have deliberately grown safe stuff in my garden as a supply of free enrichment!
