Chili peppers and pepper seeds?

I always wondered this, is it ok to feed them chili peppers? I remember I did before years ago, and they didn't seem to think they were too spicy, they ate them!

Also, can you feed them pepper seeds? I heard that you can't but I always have given them whole peppers, because people can eat them, so why not?

i wouldnt think chilli peppers would be good for them or pepper seeds

I only feed normal peppers and always cut the seeds out

Yeah I read no too.

But I just wonder why . . . because sometimes there are chili seeds in food, or you eat pepper seeds by accident if they get into food. And pepper seeds aren't spicy, from sweet peppers I mean.

I do think that chilis might upset their tummies or hurt their mouths though!
