I can never get a photo of Tallulah-oolah-woolah the shadow hippo in daylight, she just doesnt show up... but in the playpen at dusk with the camera flash here is my gorgeous chocolate shadow girl!
I just love her beautiful dark skin, she's so pretty

I'm so happy I found which light works for taking chocolate hippo pigtures, and pairing the camera flash with a coriander stem seems to work- I have so few Tallulah photos it looks like she's just a weird imaginary shadow animal but the poop trail and constant wheeking keep reassuring me she's real

My skinnies like their furry nose patches rubbing too. Other than that they don't really like being touched. Ginger will cuddle up in your clothing and will come and lie on your lap as long as you don't touch him. Dora just isn't a people pig, to be honest she can't stay still unless she is sleeping.

They are definitely unusual and very loveable these little bat hippo pigs.xx
