Biscuit and Toffee had a Christmas treat yesterday. I let them out and have the run of the whole room. I very rarely do this (although they have time in their play pen nearly every day) as I'm worried about them chewing things they shouldn't or hurting themselves. And, oh they loved it! Toffee especially was running madly up and down the room, they were both popcorning (really unusual for Biscuit - she's much more 'sedate' than Toffee, due to her age I'm guessing) and enjoying exploring every corner. At one point they both disappeared underneath the bookcase and I had a moment of panic as I didn't know where they were  . Biscuit became fascinated with the base of my desk and I had to stop her gnawing at it several times, but it was so lovely to see them having so much fun. Will definitely be doing this more often.

So glad they had such fpa fun time. The only thing to be ultra aware of is electric cables, try and move all cables above their height or guard off 😊

Yes electric cables are my main worry, I've got them both sides of the room. I managed to 'fence them off' but the clever little things seem to know where I don't want them to go and make a determined effort to get there! I think I've worked out a better way of doing it for next time though 🤞

You’ve made me think…. I’ve always imagined that too large a space would frighten my two, but maybe someday I’ll leave the door open and see what they do with the usual hall space PLUS living room and kitchen … 🤔
