Barcud and his two younger sons are this year's Christmas Wheekers for Wiebke's Tribe.

My thoughts and hugs are with all those of you who struggle with losses, illnesses or worries and find it hard joining in with the mood of the season.

I wish you all the best time possible and some priceless piggy cuddles!

Merry Christmas from me and the girls, you guys have all helped this year when I've lost 3 of my girls :bye:

Merry Christmas to all, or at least a tolerable one, and a happy new year when it comes.

Nadolig Llawen @Wiebke !
Sorry not been her much lately, crazy busy with work and many sleepless nights keeping elderly pigs alive through the cold snap but... better news than expected from the vet this week so we all made it to Christmas, paws crossed and wheeky wishes for a better year of pig health and happiness for us all in 2023 x

Thank you!
I am still playing catch up from sadly losing two of my own older piggies earlier this week within a day of each other (with the attendant sleepless nights and resulting exhaustion, both physical and emotional) and have spent Christmas morning still cage cleaning... I am sure that despite all the care and regular snuggesafes the cold spell has played a role in tipping an already fragile balance. :(
But I am so glad for you that yours have made it through!

The one good thing for me is that while I still have some rather frail oldies left, I simply won't have the numbers for a repeat of the last 16 months with 18 losses ever again. The very worst has now happened. :(
Like you, I am sincerely hoping for a better year!

Merry Christmas to you and your gorgeous Tribe Wiebke! :)
Huge hugs back to you, very sorry to hear you have lost two of your beauties this week. Hoping for lots of good health in the new year for you all. Thanks for all you do on the forum xx

Thank you Wiebke and Happy Christmas to you, your hubby and all your Tribe x

Hope you were able to enjoy some of the day properly after all the cage cleaning etc. (I'm a bit late replying as I've been busy being the hostess with the mostest, we have a friend staying with us now for a week - she smashed her knee 3 weeks ago so she can't be on her own or do her own cooking...)

I have had a feets-up late afternoon and evening after our Christmas dinner (as always cooked by hub) - and no more cage cleaning for another two days! Just washing...
