I've been a little worried about Gus recently as he feels lighter when I pick him up but not actually losing weight on the scales. Turns out Walter is just fat and I always pick him up first because he doesn't resist!
Walter is hefty 1.2kg and Gus is just a little over 1kg.
Doesn't make any sense because Gus definitely eats more?!

I guess each piggy is different, i have no obvious ganets in my tribe but i do have a girl heavier than the rest :)

I think that some are just bigger boned and have bigger frames. I always think that Sundae looks solid (she was 2 lb 8 oz at the vet today), but Linney in her prime was almost 3 pounds, and Frenzy never got much bigger than 2 lbs or so in spite of a really healthy appetite!

I had the same experience recently where I was worried that Sundae was losing weight, but she is actually maintaining just fine, I think that Hadley is just catching up to Sundae's size so quickly that I don't feel the weight difference between them like I used to. Instead of Sundae getting slimmer, Hadley's getting bigger!

My boys ar the same. Rohan is a lot bigger and heavier than Paddy but they both eat and weigh healthy amounts, it's just Paddy is noticeably smaller when you hold them.

Archie has gone huge lately, weighed him today and hes 1kg 305g! I know its my fault though, ive been giving him way too much grass.

Both boys get loads of floor time, all day at weekends (at least 5 hours) and an hour or 2 and night in the week. They don't really get a lot of grass because I don't have a garden but I have been growing some in pots for them to munch every now and again. I think it's their nuggets? Might do a switch over to Harringtons. That seems to be a big hit all round.
I do love a good cuddle with my chubber though lol.
