Hi!
So I changed bedding from shavings to recycled paper pellets and I’m so pleased with the outcome!
They are a lot more expensive especially as I have 2 large cages, the 30L I purchased has all been used up in one go, so that’s the only down side but it’s better for the girls health and well-being so that’s all that matters :D
I also bought Mary a new bed that I’ve put under her ramp as she’s the only pig I’ve ever owned who seems to love comfy things to sleep on
And I found cute bowls from an op shop (charity shop) so they also have new food bowls!
Here are some photos of the girls exploring there new set up..

Please excuse the randomness of the placement of where I have the cages I’m currently house sitting so I had to just put them where ever they’d fit lol!:wel:

Yes I like those Back 2 Nature pellets and my piggies are fine with them - it's just so expensive to line the whole cage with them, as I find it still gets smelly after a few days so I want to change it twice a week - especially as it's right next to where we eat! So I mostly use a thick layer of hay with pellets in their favourite toilet areas.

Ah okay good to know! I’ll have to see how I go with them. I feel they would be great for hamsters but a little too expensive for Guinea pigs. I’ll see if my girls get smelly!

Is that a drain pipe I see?

That's a good idea. My tunnles get poop trampled onto them after awhile. There just cardboard
