Hello , i wanted to clean there cage as its getting little poopy and such. they have been with me for 3 days now.
they have came out there hide a few times. i stroked VERY gently with 2 pets only, and offers them food(they won't take it yet) but happily will take it after while if i leave it in there cage.
still little skittish.
i wanted as i said clean there cage. would it be best if i just clean around them or try to pick them up and clean the cage? there still little on edge and i dont want to scare them ps there hide is a temp (over cover hide ) it isn't like a pouch or anything it dont have a bottom or such least till i can get one monday

Do you have a pet carrier? You could herd them into it, shut the door, take the pet carrier out, pop it somewhere safe and clean out the cage. That's what I'm doing with my very skittish new arrivals.

i dont have one at the moment no :( if not i might just move the heard around as i clean so they feel they can run into it if they want to

Try a large cardboard box or even your laundry basket with an old towel at the bottom. ;)

A bit late to the party but I would clean around them if they’ve only been there three days. Hopefully you managed whatever the case.
