We got our Piggys a week today and cleaned there cage after having them four days, which was Wednesday. I clean out the poos and any wet patches every day I am due to clean them out tomorrow . Is this enough cleaning there cage every four days or should I be doing it sooner than this. There cage does not smell and top up any shavings that need replaced.

I have a c&c cage inside and my daughter has a hutch outside (soon to come inside for winter) and we clean completely once a week-always have and it's not a problem.
We do spray around with a hutch cleaner and they only smell a bit on the day they are due to be cleaned out.

I fully clean my cages every 4th day - any longer than this and they would start to whiff a bit. Mine are bedded on fleece and so get hoovered out every day :)

It really depends on the individual pigs - when two of my girls were by themselves they were virtually litter trained and do could easily go 7-9 days as i used to clean their litter tray every 2-3 days.

My boys on the other hand are messy and sometimes 4 days is pushing it especially with my longer haired boys....

Think it all depends on the bedding you use :)
I used to use fleece blankets that had to be changed daily so switched to vet bed and can leave pairs of piggies for a week. Although they are cleaned out twice a day, a deep clean with disinfecting all areas happens weekly for all of our piggies and twice a week for the pens with three or more so around four days sounds about right :))
Our washer is on every night when I'm home from work to keep their clean bedding stocked up rolleyes

I am very new to this and currently using wood shavings in the cage but really wondering if it would be better to use the fleece blankets, especially in the winter as it is colder , my Guinnys are kept indoors. , thanks for the replies

I use fleece; I vac out poo every daily and do a complete change every week. They also have a couple of litter trays in corners, which I change every 3-4 days. No problems with that.

When I used wood shavings I did a similar thing; spot cleaning to scoop out the worst bits every 3-4 days and a complete change every 7-10 days.

Fleece blankets are ok but are high maintenance I think - others swear by them. Actually saw some in Tesco this week reduced to 86p :x Have a really bad habit of buying reduced blankets and have quite a pile that have never been used mallethead
I'm just paranoid about the piggies being warm so vet bed is my definite choice and put little fleece blankets in for them to snuggle under if they can be bothered rolleyes
You will discover what is best for them and yourself, it's all trial and error and what suits some, might not suit another...and remember, there are no set rules as to what people use so never feel pressurised :)

I think that's fine, I have very smelly boys and do similar to you but i usually do full cleans as they're next to be in the front room so get to smell them!.
As long as your piggies are healthy and you don't let the bedding get too wet i see no problem with it
