Cleo and her nebuliser!

My teeny gorgeous diva has had a bad week with her snotties and breathing, she’s been on her metacam and bisolven (when she’ll take it! ) and yesterday we got her nebuliser out!
She’s been great (for her!) since lovely @Qualcast&Flymo gave us hers so she’s not needed it, but definitely needed yesterday as mouth open gasping a little as so full of snots she couldn’t get out!
She was great, we tried just with the mask as Kim the vet had suggested so I didn’t stress her too much and was actually putting her face straight in inhaling! And as you can see she’s very chilled out, so not feeling quite herself bless her!

She obviously felt much better after her 15-20min session, back to Crazy Queen Cleo and her favourite hobby!



We had another go later on, in the carrier. After 5-10mins I smelt a burnt plastic smoky smell in the hallway, yep where the nebuliser machine was!
So we’ve ordered a new one, that my friend @piggieminder recommended ages ago! Hopefully it’ll be here tomoz!

I’ve called C&R to try and get a double appt for her and Jasper, who now has another lump (exactly the same as his sebaceous cyst, just an inch up his side! ) but no appts til after 31st! So I’ll be trying to ring and squeeze them in somewhere in the near future!

Thanks Claire, she’s been on and off all week but happy so I wasn’t too worried, until I got up yesterday and she was a bit too noisy from her trumpet nose and being very quiet hiding when she’s normally demanding breakfast! She’s much better today but just want to check on her little heart more than anything really!
And Jasper just fancies Kim the vet I think! Hopefully nothing too though Thank you xx

Jasper sounds like our skinny pig, Ginger. Ginger now has 3 fatty lumps on his tummy and a sebaceous cyst on his back. None of them have given him any trouble and our vet prefer to leave them be. Hope this is the same for Jasper.

Thanks Yvonne, she seems much brighter today and tucking in happily as you can see! So much quieter too, she really can get loud bless her and hard to hear!

Aw little lumpy Ginger, glad his have been nothing to worry about, even if he’s collecting them! Luigi’s fatty one on his throat is a lot bigger than Jasper’s, so I’m trying not to worry too much and it’s hopefully the same as the one we found in November! Not bothering him at all so hopefully stays that way too!

Thank you, will (hopefully) ring on Wednesday for Cleo and hope I can get in I think. Then hopefully Jasper some time closely after! So much easier and less stressful to take them both for an appt in one go as both got to go anyway but really want her to have a check up after yesterday so I’d rather not wait! x

Ah good! Sounds like she is still her sassy-self!
Good here thanks, just nursing Koda back to full health after his gastroenteritis. But he's started to eat again today

Definitely got her sass back today anyway, poor Jasper’s got his daily headache again while she shouts at him like normal!
Oh I had no idea, I’m so sorry he’s been poorly as not been on a little while, poor Koda So glad he’s started to eat again now, hope he’s feeling much better soon bless him. Sending huge hugs and big kisses to lovely Koda xx

Thanks so much, hoping we’ll get in tomorrow She’s definitely perked up a lot since she had it, still a little squeaky this morning but well enough to do her Jaws impression on my jumper when I got her out for metacam!
I’m so sorry, feel so terrible I broke it! It’s been so comforting to know it’s been here for her if we need it, she scares me when she’s so bad like she was Sunday It definitely helped a lot, or I’d have had to try and get to Coventry or Leamington to either of the emergency vets, which is a nightmare with me not driving, and she would’ve been so stressed too. Thanks a lot for being so kind and bringing it to us, we’re so so grateful, just so sorry I managed to break it!
Her new one should be here in the next couple of hours so I’ve got to work out how to use that one now!

Thank you! Definitely more her feisty self thank god, just quiet, which is very strange when she’s the noisiest chatterbox in the house! Hopefully she’ll be as good when we use her new one today (and it’s not my hands she bites instead of the mask!)

Someone’s feeling better now!

A few little snotty, sneezy fits and watery eyes so thought we’d try the new one to see if it helps to get the snot out a bit, she wasn’t quite as cooperative as the other day! (That was the very tame part as my hands were very busy after! )
Now to bathe my wounds! Don’t think she needs it again today, she’s back to her monster-ish self!
