Hi! You may find the video in our nail clipping guide helpful. Many guinea pigs squirm.
Taking your piggies to another room that is not familiar and using some piggy whispering tips (a mix of love and establishing dominance) with lots of praise and encouragemant can help.
Guide to Cutting Guinea Pig Nails

Thank you so much! I will most definitely check that out.

I have 5 piggies so can't afford to take them to the vet. Mine are pretty good and just sit and let me do it most of the time. Except for timid little Meg who will only sit still occasionally and definitely not when it comes to the inner nail on her front left paw!

I have one squirmy pig and one bitey pig when nail cutting lol. I have found that distracting them with food and remaining calm myself has helped them to stay calm and made it easier to cut their nails.
