Is there a specific way of doing this that helps keep the pig calm so you don't end up clipping their whole toe off?

My sow has really bad nails that I've been wanting to trim since I adopted her a couple weeks ago. I've been waiting until she's had time to adjust and get used to me. I don't want to freak her out and make her hate me.

Any recommendations?
