Cocoa has already gone to see the vet and I have her medications. She's developed this odd occasional twitch but still is otherwise normal - on the more lethargic side. does anyone know what the twitch could be?

here are my notes:

Hi!

Sorry, I don't know and can't comment without a video as to whether you need to report it to your vet or not.
(You will have to upload any videos on a public setting elsewhere and the copy across as the extra bandwidth for support exceeds our financial abilities, considering that we are running entirely on voluntary member donations).

Your vet seems to be treating for both surface and deeper damage with the combination of antibiotic eye drops and oral antibiotic as well as a lubricant, which will not just keep the eye hydrated but also support the healing process in the deeper layers.

Please weigh her daily at the same time in the feeding cycle (normal kitchen scales are perfectly fine).

Baytril, like all antibiotics, can also impact on the gut bacteria and dampen the appetite. If that is the case, you may want to give bene bac and if necessary supplementary fibrous feed to make up for any hay she's not eating.

I hope that your girl's eye will improve soon.
