I have posted this idea also in another thread, in the Health area, but I will post is also here.
We all know that Europe is having quite some hot days at the moment, and personally i am expecting even worse days to come in July and August.
I got this idea from another forum and i already tested it on my own trio. It was a hit.
The basic idea is that cold air always sinks at the bottom, so you are trying to cool them from the top, not from the bottom (as is the case of frozen water bottles).
I am still using also kitchen tiles, frozen water bottles and damp towels. This idea is only coming in addition to all the others.
I have used for my bunker leftover grids from the play pen. For the roof i am using some with holes. You would also need frozen water bottles/thermal packs and some old towels (for isolation - you want as little as possible cold air being lost to the area around).
In my own case, i am using 5 * 220ml thermal packs on the roof, 1* 1.5L frozen water bottle inside of the bunker and 4 towels on top covering 3 sides of the construction. The air temperature in the room over 28C, but the temperature inside of the bunker is oscilating between 21C and 22.5C (depending on how many doors the piggies create)
That's how my bunker looks like:

Hope this helps!
Stay cool everyone!
