Hi, thanks for being here!

This is just a curious question. Many posters (mainly their pigs) are very fond of coriander, some give it daily from what I've read. My girls seem to get some tummy issues from coriander, usually fixed after a day with no veg or greens.

Does anyone else struggle with this? It's a shame, truly!

I think Piggies are a bit like us humans - some things just don't agree with them yet others are fine.
One of my boys gets an upset tummy from most veggies. I always feel so guilty when others get a range of veggies and he's limited to some peppers and cucumber!

It is a shame if it upsets your girl, but wont do her any harm to leave it out of the diet. Can you substitute it with something else that she likes?

Oh bless your fella! It is strange, some piggies could probably eat an entire pantry and be fine while others are like delicate little flowers

My girls still get to have a wide selection of veg, I was simply curious about the coriander thing since I've never heard anybody have trouble with it!

Well mine has trouble with it 😂 but I think that's because he has trouble with anything that isn't a bell pepper or piece of cucumber! He used to be fine, it all started after a course of antibiotics (that clearly messed too much with his natural gut bacteria). I've tried re-introducing slowly but his tummy just can't take it. So to be on the safe side I don't bother anymore. He's such a hay monster anyway -will always go to a fresh hay pile before his veggies :luv:
