Can piggles eat the outer leaves? If so how often?
I bought some from the market today and just before I throw them out wanted to check.

My lot love the papers and silks of a corn cob! You can also freeze the papers (the outside leaves) to give later on.

Brilliant, didn't realise they could be frozen, do they keep their shape etc, I thought they might go soggy as they defrost? We've given them a couple for breakfast so will see how they get on.

I didn't find that mind you I only had them out of the freezer for about half an hour to warm up a bit.

Brilliant, thank you, they weren't that fussed this morning, they ate them but only after they had eaten everything else! Will perhaps freeze a few leaves and see how we get on.
