Coughing / choking

One of my girls chokes a lot when she’s eating like she starts coughing like she’s eaten too fast, it really scares me and I don’t know what to do? Is this normal and can be left to get out on its own or can I do anything? They’re harmless coughs but I just don’t like not knowing if she’s choking or not

Some piggies have a habit of eating and drinking too fast, leading to coughing. If it seems more than usual or goes on for a long time, then there’s no harm in having her checked out.

My boy Finn does this most dinner times. I think he’s trying to eat all the good bits before his brother finds them
