Billy is at the moment a normal size and weight for his age but I have had him since he was 3 months old and he's now 6 months old and he hates being handed, he is very skittish. Also his feet are absolutely huge! His body is very long when he's stretched out. I got him for free from gumtree and the previous owner was desperate to get rid of him, could this be why they were giving him away? I will try and get a pic of his feet size but he's that skittish it's hard to get him to stay still.

Would need to see a photo. Cuy's are still quite rare. Took us five years to tame Putt, but she has been to this date the only piggy to climb up on me for lap time and would nestle into my lap. He could just be one of those piggies that are a little more feral.

Hmmm... what does he weigh? Some picture of cuy that I've seen have been up to 5 pounds! I've also heard that most are either white, red, or a combination of those (though I suspect there are probably hybrid cuy that have more colors in their coats.)

Here's a pic of him, he is still quite small but his feet are huge. I'll try and get a pic of his feet compared to Freddie's when I get home from work. He could be like @sport_billy said, more feral than the rest, can feet be an indication of the size he will grow to? The last time I weighed him he weighed he was nearly 1kg and I think he is around 4-5 months, I've just checked when I got him and it was 11 th April, and I was told he was 12 weeks old at that point but not sure as I can only judge on what the previous owner said. Also this is going to sound abit weird but his poops are HUGE, they are a lot bigger than Freddie's and he's around 1.5 years old.

These are from when I had just introduced them so that was 2 weeks after I got him. I will try and get one of him tonight but it's quite difficult to get him to stay still. He's the little Black and Tan one.

cuy or not Billy is so cute!!:luv:
Is it a problem is the pig is a cuy? Has a cuy pig any genetic disorder?

I'm not really sure, I know they are giant Guinea pigs and from what I have read they only live around 2 years. I'm not sure about any other health issues though, to be honest I hope he's not because I would like to think he's got a long life ahead of him and plenty of time to tame him. 2 years isn't much time when I'm so attached to him.

This is him now, I didn't know how to measure his feet because I can't find the tape measure right now so I'll try and find it tomorrow. He is smaller than Freddie still but his feet are a little bit bigger than Freddie's.

Sorry that there's nothing to compare his foot to so can't really tell if they are just normal or not. I haven't had a baby male Guinea pig for a while. so not sure what's normal size or not, just seems strange that his feet look so big.

His feet look pretty normal to me. Proportionately, baby pigs have large feet- like puppies, they have yet to grow into them. It's impossible to tell his full genetic heritage, but I think it's most likely that he is just a baby who is very skittish (as a lot of young pigs are!) and has not yet grown into his feet.
