Crust (?) by eye

I noticed that Penny has some sort of crust by her eye, I assume it's dried up stuff from her eye? I tried wiping it off but it won't come out. Will it come out on its own or should I try something else? Also should I be concerned about this at all? Penny is still acting normal

If her eye isn’t otherwise having issues with discharge, then It’s likely just dried cleaning fluid. You can try removing it with a damp cloth, but she is probably likely to get it off herself over the next few grooming sessions.

It can be just some kind of irritant that has been washed out of the eye if there is no sign of an irritation, injury or infection.

Please do not rip it off; it is firmly attached to the hairs, you have to wait until is coming off on its own.
