Hello, I'm Barney. Everyone calls me RoonersMcMooners.
I am a rehomed pig from p@h :( My name was just Barney, but mummy liked Roo, so my name is a combination of the two :)
Everyone took my brothers and sisters, but no one wanted me.....I felt very unloved.
Then my mummy and daddy bought me home, and found me a friend (Bracken).
He's my bestest best buddy 8)
No one knows what breed I am, but they seem to love me....

Just gorgeous. Really adorable face. Such handsome face colouring. I actually think it's very pretty but he is a boy, so we'll stick with the gender-appropriate words!

Your story is similar to mine, just different pet shop. We were there for dog and fish food just before one Xmas and noticed they had heaps of male and female piggies. When we went back the following mid-January, there was just the one lonely male left - apparently all the rest went as Xmas pressies. We were told we could get him at a discounted price as he was approaching 11 weeks and had to go (had to go where one wonders?).

So, naturally we took him and then the hunt was on for a friend. That's when I discovered piggy shelters - it had never occurred to me there would be such. And now he has a friend too.
