Cuddling a ‘Bat Hippo’ this afternoon!

Mum and I have had a wonderful ‘petting afternoon‘ at the residential care home my Mum is in. There was guinea pigs, a pygmy hedgehog, rabbits and snake! Had a great time, the little ‘teddy’? piggie managed to pee on me The little ‘bat hippo’ was as good as gold!

Mum seems really happy there, she is doing well and is not so stressed about everything she can no longer think to do. It’s a lovely home, warm, cosy, comfy and nice home cooked food, kind a caring staff, just what she needs. Her room is really nice, recently re-carpeted and re-decorated so feels really clean, bright and airy x
They have pet therapy every two months, not sure if the snake was that welcome but everyone enjoyed all the other furries!
