Wheek wheek all the lovely hoomans of the guinea pig forum... my name is Buddy and I just arriveded at this odd place. My family couldn't afford to keep us any longer and while they found homes for the other 4 boys I was left all on my own. Even some rescues didn't want to help me cos I has white furs and pinky eyes... but my temporary mummy says I am a gorgeous boy and that I look all christmassy.

I'm not too sure what to make of my new home and I keep having a nosey around as I heard other piggies but I have gone to sulk now because I heard Peter and he has 3 girls with him... I don't even have a friend let alone a girlfriend

My new mummy says she will try and find me a loving home with a friend for me to chat to and cuddle up with... although she thinks he shouldn't be too young as I'm a big boy for 4 months old hehe

He's absolutely adorable. He looks just like my Ludwig minus his brown eye patch. Luddy was the last guinea pig left with his partner Gilbert as they both were white with red eyes, too. =(

Just a quick update on Buddy today, he seems to have settled very well. Obviously a bit unsure of his new surroundings so waited for me to go to my parents (my internet wasn't working and I needed to get an essay done) before scoffing his veg. I didn't put a lot in the cage because his poops looked light and quite dry so don't know how much he is used to and didn't want to upset his tummy. When I came home I was sat having a cup of tea and he was darting in and out of his hidey and popcorning all over the place for a good 10 mins, it was so funny to watch. He's been at the pellets and water quite a bit overnight as well and keeps coming out for a nosey when he can hear my piggies wheeking away

A quick update as my internet has been down for the past week so I can only get on really at work. Buddy seems to be getting a bit more used to the attention although he turned his back on me during cuddle time on Friday and I noticed he stunk so I bathed him and clipped his nails on Saturday, he's not a fan of being pampered but I made it up to him with a big chunk of broccoli, he is slowly getting used to having veggies although still seems a little unsure on what it all is. I have managed to check his front teeth, eyes, ears, nose and have a good feel all over and there seems to be nothing wrong with him at all although from the state of his ears I would say he's been bullied a fair bit. Actually has a small hole in one of his ears not just nips round the edges the poor boy. Once my internets back up and running I will put some more piccies up

Wish my Himi sisters could have a huspig but they are right little Diva's and stuck up rolleyes

well good news... my internet is fixed so I shall upload some more photo's now... although taking a piccy of a white piggy on a white towel seems to have confused my camera hehe! I agree he does look a touch himi but its only one ear thats dark, the other one is pretty much all pink hehe
