Curly lettuce

How often can guinea pigs eats curly lettuce and how much can they have in a portion (how many leaves)?

I give my piggies lettuce pretty much every day. You will aim to give each piggy about a cup of veggies per day - I can’t say how many leaves it will equate to as it depends on the size of the leaves and how much other veg you are giving them

As long as it isn’t iceberg then yes you can Just make sure not to feed too much as too much lettuce can cause soft poos

If they haven’t had it before then you will need to add it in very slowly, A little at a time, to ensure their tummies can handle If

Any new veg should be introduced slowly. The same goes for when they start going back out on grass, if can only be done a little at a time for short periods - their tummies need to be prepared to prevent it causing upsets

I've been doing that too yay
