curousity re different substrate/bedding types...

Hi guys, lurker here. I keep seeing posts about woodshavings/megazorb and such. Does no one use finacard or ecopetbed? Is there any particular reason why these bedding types are not mentioned... i can imagine piggies stinking quite a bit on card that had soaked up pee i suppose but i expect that when i own guinea pigs i will still have rats in the family and they are on finacard which i love
So yeah does anyone use these, what are the pros and cons of these?

We trialled the Finacard a while back at the rescue and it was ok - but not cost effective enough once delivered (no local suppliers at the time) and the advantages of it weren't enough to swing me.

I am about to trial other cardboard bedding, I think it is Eco pet bed, will post the results! I can get that locally.
