Cut the quick and it won't stop bleeding

Hey. I was cutting Peanut's nails today and he squirmed so I accidentally cut the quick. It's been fifteen minutes and it hasnt stopped bleeding. We put the nail in cornstarch twice, and compressed it with a towel to try to get it to stop. I don't think know if we'll be able too see an emergency vet right at the moment if it's serious, if there is even one nearby. What should I do?

Keep pressure on it. But if it doesn't you do need to get him seen.
