Does anyone else struggle to go on hol and leave the piggies behind? I went to stay with my parents for a few days, the plan was to stay until Wed but i had to get back because i missed my boys sooooooo much :))
It made it so worthwhile when Jaspers little face lit up when he heard my voice x)

I hate leaving them just to go to work rolleyes
Currently building the indoor pens for our 12 piggies in our caravan so they can come with us - couldn't spend a night away without my babies :(|)

Aww thats really sweet, I leave mine with a friend who has piggies and they get spoilt rotten so I can have piece of mind

I very simply don't leave my boys and girl! I would worry so much if i did they're like my children -i can't leave them behind lol

We are going to Corfu for a week, leaving on Friday. I miss my two boys so much and they are the highlight of my coming back home again. I miss my budgie and hamsters too but the boys are just different. We have to part with them at teatime on Thursday. When they are gone I get emotional because the living room is so empty without them all.

I couldn't go on holiday and leave mine.

My 11 year old dog has only had 3 nights apart from me since I got her at 6wks old and that was only because work sent me on a course (2 nights) and she had one night in the vets hospital..... I used to take the dogs camping though but now I've got the piggies I'd rather stay at home :)) sad I know

x

:( Its horrible isnt it? I'm glad its not just me, i was explaining to my family and they thought i was mad. I walked into the living room and said hello to Jasper. His eyes lit up and i swear he was smiling :<> i knew i had done the right thing coming home. My husband took good care of them so i wasnt worried, i just pined for them. The babies are in the pen now going berserk with excitement. Next time they are coming with me if my hub allows it!

Yeah, totally understand how everyone feels. We have been away for a few 1 night stays but I wouldn't feel like leaving them for any longer than that at the moment.

Awwww, they do know who their slaves are!

I always miss my piggies when I go to Switzerland to see my family and friends; over the last few years, I have tended to stay for only one week rather than longer.

Aww i've been away since Friday (also went to see my parents) and i'm back tomo (OH has been looking after the piggies.) I can honestly say i have really missed them too, i've spoken about them every day...can't wait to see them tomorrow! I'm sure they've missed me :))

Ps, hope Dotties pigture has kept Jaspers mind from missing you too much ;)

I'm going away next week for 4 nights and dreading leaving them! At the moment if I leave the house really early on a morning and come back late at night, they eat everything in their cage. I don't understand why?

There's other people in the house so it's not like they're alone and everyone is always cooing at them, I think they're going to be the size of German Shepard's when I get back.

My boyfriend did suggest that we bring them lol I did half consider it :red Maybe if I cover them with kisses they'll be glad to see me disappear for awhile :))

I feel the same as you. I would never ever leave them. Once there was a power cut in my area. I took the girls and my bunny to my mums to stay the night. I could not leave them and felt scared being in the dark. :))

My Mum used to put Duke up to the phone when whee went away x) he'd then toofie chatter, which meant he was talking to me x)

HUGS for you love whee know just how you feel XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
