Just saw this had burst it seems on male piggy - Any advice on what to do? Vet advised to just monitor as it wasn’t bothering him.

Hi

Please disinfect; if necessary with homemade saline solution. For that you stir in 1 teaspoon of salt into 250 ml of boiled and cooled water.

Burst cysts have a bad habit of refilling or getting infected so in the long term you may be looking at a removal operation. Please contact your vet if gets infected.
