We recommend Feliway cystease capsules for cats (UK brand). You can find it widely online or even in a pet shop.
Empty the contents of one capsule into 2 ml of water, shake until mixed and shake before use. Keep in the fridge between use. I keep little vets or human medicine bottles this purpose.
You can either syringe 1 ml of the mix twice daily or give 2 ml once daily. During a flare you can give one capsule twice daily for 2-3 days to cap it more quickly, provided it makes a difference for your piggy. You can also give a double dosage for the first week to help getting on top of symptoms more quickly although it may take longer for the glucosamine to be absorbed and processed. It is a slow and gradual process but it is worth it.
Most piggies are fine with the taste. Alternatively you can try it on their favourite veg but I have had piggies who would nibble around it and leave the powder. That's why I prefer to syringe to make sure that everything has gone in.

The powder takes a while to be absorbed and more water if needed. That why I usually preferred to do a two day batch in one go.
The positive side about it is that it tastes best and therefore much easier to give to your piggies - no big battles.
