Was just popping Maple back in to the cage after her feed when I heard Daisy to a very short squeak whilst pooing. She had a bladder stone removed in September. She's doesn't get high calcium veg and is on JR farm grainless nuggets. I have also noticed 1 or 2 small white marks on the fleece.

She is completely fine within herself. Eating. Drinking, running around. She is 6 years old. Really hoping it's not another stone. Any advice?

I only heard Daisy squeak once and she seems OK. I'm going to take her to the vet with me on Friday when I take Maple for her post-op check.

I'm thinking the slightly increased white spots from urine (more powder rather than grit) may be due to her increased intake of Burgess dried forage mix. I actually bought it to tempt maple to eat but Daisy eats so fast that she probably had the majority of the portions!

I'm thinking of starting her on cystease from reading threads on here. If there is no blood in urine, would cystease be effective in helping with the possible sludge? Or is it more for blood? I have upped her intake of watery veg to try and flush it all out.

Thanks.

Cystease should help with any inflammation on the bladder lining. We have used it to varying degrees of success over the years

Anymore squeaks? I'd be tempted to ask the vet for some metacam and get the urine tested check for blood etc... Could have just been a hard poo (hopefully) but wont hurt ruling out a UTI etc...

Sending love to Daisy

Thanks @sport_billy
I haven't heard any more squeaks and I have watched her do a fair amount of poos. :xd: There are still some small dots of white powder dotted about the cage but only in like 3 or 4 places. Will aim to get a sample of urine on Friday and see what the vet thinks!
