Dandelion types

I was getting dandelions to give to my guinea pigs but some are slightly furry. I looked on Google and they might be cats ear weed but theres a lot of mixed opinions on if theyre safe or not, are these toxic to piggies or alright as a one off to eat.

This thread is designed to give you some more ideas of a more natural diet for your piggies. As always hays and grasses should make up 80-90% of your piggies food intake but as we all know we also often feed restricted amounts of pellets and vegetables.

A great way to mix up your piggies diet and keep things interesting and enriching (and much more natural) is to add in wild weeds and plants in place of supermarket bought vegetables. If the dandelions are slightly furry and you're unsure if they're safe for your guinea pigs, it's best to avoid giving them to your pets until you can confirm their safety.
