Is it safe to pick dandelion leaves off the garden for my Guineas? We do get cats in the garden unfortunately

Betsy's right - personally, I will hang them off the roof of my piggies' run, or hide the leaves inside a ball of brown paper, to make the snack more exciting. Guinea pigs can also eat the roots and flower heads, although most prefer the leaves. To be honest, my pigs like the flowers most of all!

Mine love dandelion leaves, as Betsy said make sure to rinse them off first. They will go mad for them!

Mine love dandelion leaves.
I’ve never thought about giving them the flowers though.

Mine love them, and I always collect huge bags whenever I see them and then dry them out to use over Winter.
