I had been swaying, as sad as it is to admit I really thought that Bette was just a misunderstood pig, under that Bullying front there really was a little pig just looking for a friend.

Things with Milo and her were going great and I had actually pm'ed Suzy to ask if I could bring Bette too, so we could try and find a mediator pig if you like, that in mind. I decided to continue with the floortime.

Went up to feed them for the last time this evening when Bette and Milo obviously both wanted out and who can resist letting them wonder. Bette was AWFUL, she immediately chased Milo followed by nips to his face, chattering, hackles up and she was just plain nasty. I watch my pigs alot and generally I can read the signs, although sometimes I do get mixed up. Well not tonight she ment business! I will struggle to allow them floortime anymore her behaviour was absolutely terrible and she'd been so good too making me doubt my decision.

I guess she proved me right!
 
Oh no! I'm really sorry :( Sounds like Bette was lulling both you and Milo in a false sense of friendship.

At least she has good company in listening to your little Tribe, even if she prefers her own company :)

I'm just glad now, I can remember what the "Bette" I know and love is like again. I almost forgot just how nasty she can be! :))

At least you tried again, the important thing is that they all have a brilliant home and a mum who loves understands their little foibles, they are all happy pigs, even Bette, she just has a different way of showing it. (Hope its wasn't too ouchy Milo)
 
Awwww thats a shame .... sounded like they were getting on better too ... sometimes its rotten to be proved right ..... but looks like you were right and Bette's destined to be on her own...

At least now you know for sure..

I'm glad I tried again, if only to be sure! :).

Milo nolonger backs down to Bette now either he was returning the chattering. I guess he has decided to fight rather than flight :))!

Let's hope he has more luck at Suzy's x
 
Not completely surprised; I'd expected Bette to have a bit of a "relapse" at some point or another, if perhaps not as drastically as that.

All the best to Milo and his finding a cangenial lady!
 
Aww thats a shame things were looking up for both of them, hope everything goes well for him at suzy's :)
