Depth of pot for burial

I had bad news at the vet yesterday and it looks like my lovely Primrose hasn't got much time left. When the time does come, I'd like to bury her in a pot but I'm not sure how deep the pot needs to be. Can anyone who has done this let me know the size of the pots they have used? I feel awful posting this but I want to be prepared in advance.

I’m so sorry to hear about Primrose. I hope you can enjoy every day you still have with her In answer to your question, Jellybaby’s pot is 40cm diameter and 40cm high. It brings me memories, tears and joy in equal measure.

Bill and Ted are in a similar size pot too. So sorry poor Primrose hasn’t got long, treasure the time you have left and make loads of memories x

So sorry to hear that Primrose isn’t doing so well Enjoy whatever time you have left together. I had to help my Ella cross the rainbow bridge last Monday I spent the day before cuddling and kissing her

My piggies are also buried in similar sized pots. We cover the base of the pot with compost and then bury the body as deep as it will go (((hugs))) x

Thank you. Ella was 4 and a half and I had her for just 2 and a half years. I wish animals could live longer too and no, no matter how long you get with them, it never seems enough x
