Junior Guinea Pig
Hi guys
So as well as 3 owning 3 Guinea pigs, I'm fostering a rabit for a local charity till they can find him a permanent home.
As part of the arrangement, the charity paid for him to be castrated. The opp went well on Wednesday but there were complications. He wouldn't eat for 48 hours
Luckily I recognized this and started syringe feeding within 3 hours. Hes eating again now, but the vet says I saved his life by starting the feed as quickly as I did we avoided gut stasis.
Now the reason for my post. It's only because of the fantastic people here, that I was equipped with the oxbow critical care (herbivore( , syringes and the knowledge to save Dexter's life. So I wanted to say thankyou.
