Dictionary Definition Of Pet

As some of you will know my little darlings are not very happy around us humans. Today OH looked up the definition of pet and discovered there are two meanings!

1. Domestic or tamed animal kept for pleasure and companionship. :luv:

2. A feeling of petty resentment or ill humour. :yikes:

So it seems Spike and Peanut have been reading the wrong definition. :hb:

Which one have your guineas been reading?
 
I like it! Usually my boys are the first definition, but Albie had a surprise trip to the vet this morning, so he's definitely showing me feelings of petty resentment right now!
 
Hehe, Chewie mostly errs to the second definition! She was a right grumpy cowbag on Friday! But was better on Sat and Sunday. The other two... I'm not sure they've learnt to read yet... they're not ill humoured, but not cuddly , they have a mild indifference to being held and would just rather be elsewhere!
