I was just wondering about this today, thinking back over my pigs of old and how I always felt my agouti’s were the most bossy, stubborn and demanding. One of them, Winnie (favourite pig ever) was such a Queen. But all three of my Agouti’s have been incredibly single minded. I’m not sure I’d like them as people, but I sure loved them as pigs 😂

So is it just me being mad, or have others found that other pig breeds have certain characteristics?

I don't know, I am not sure it works that way with guineas and I personally don't really care! (oof no shouty voice intended..All in good jest :D)

My daughter was watching an awful lot of youtube videos before we got our pair, and I tried to say..but.ah..you might get two who don't like lap time and etc. etc. and don't like petted no matter what..and etc. We had one cuddly one who passed away (I wont go on) but the other one Roz..is a skittish person just like myself, so we will see what pal she picks at the rescue! It is nice to have a pair of cuddle monsters but at the same time, if that doesn't work out..I am a fan of let the pigs be pigs..I feel we were spoilt by poor cuddly Chara, such a naturally tame trusting piggy, but I wont assume all Rex/teddy/fluffy piggies are the same :D
