I have just put a baby boar about 6/8 weeks in with Chester another boar who is roughly 4 months.
Unfortunately all Chester is doing is rumbling & trying to bonk the little one.
Is this normal?

How did you go with the introduction?
If he's not drawing blood or incredibly close to it hopefully it resolves

Chester bonked the little one as soon as the little one went in.
I just don't want Chester to hurt him, there's lots of squeaks from the little one.

Did you introduce them in a neutral territory or his cage? Neutral territories are usually the kitchen, garden etc

I put them in a hexagonal run, it's only used when I clean the piggies out. I have separated them for now, because the baby had had enough.

Oh dear, I'm not well-versed in boar intros. You could look at the stickies in the behavioural section

@BossHogg maybe it would be a good idea to move it there? Might get more responses

Not an expert with boars either, but I think the general consensus is to offer a hidey with an entrance and exit that only the baby can get in and out of, so they can get away from the humping if needed (a cardboard box with a small exit and entry cut into it should work).
Also maybe a soft toy for your older boy?

Done that with the box, if I gave Chester a cuddly toy he would see if it was edible if not, he'd throw it. Lol
