I was just wondering about this!

Obviously when they're born their teeth are tiny, do those fall out and they grow new ones, or do they just get longer and they grow more as they get older?

I know dogs and cats have baby teeth and adult teeth, but never thought about it in rabbits and guinea pigs, and never heard anything about it!

If they do, then what age do they get their adult teeth? It could help in guessing the age of new pigs people buy. :)

i have brought a new baby piggy and i never thought about that, well if there teeth do fall out then atleast i will know what is wrong if there teeth are supose to falll out

Hmm, I actually don't know. Their teeth do continuously grow, but then so do horses and they still have baby teeth. Hmmm ?/

Yeah it's not really something you think about with guinea pigs :)
